General rule
Because Wheat State Research products are supplied for controlled non-clinical research and product integrity cannot be verified after an item leaves our control, products are generally final sale after shipment. Returned products are never restocked or resold. This rule does not limit a refund, replacement, cancellation, or other remedy that applicable law requires.
Contact us before returning anything
Do not send a product back without written instructions from customer service. The P.O. Box listed on this site is not an authorized return destination unless we specifically direct you to use it. Unauthorized returns may be unsafe, delayed, refused, or ineligible for the requested remedy.
Problems eligible for review
Contact us promptly if you believe an order involves:
- An item or quantity different from the accepted order.
- Visible shipping damage, leakage, broken packaging, or a labeling discrepancy.
- A package reported lost, undeliverable, or delivered to an incorrect destination due to seller or carrier error.
- Goods materially different from their approved product description.
- An item that became unavailable after payment.
- A shipment delay for which you reject an extension or cancel as allowed by law.
- A duplicate, unauthorized, or incorrectly processed payment.
- Another warranty, consumer, or commercial right that applicable law does not allow us to waive.
Information needed for review
We may request the order number, purchaser name, delivery address, photographs of the shipping container and product packaging, carrier records, lot and label information, and a clear description of the issue. Preserve the item, packaging, labels, seals, and documents until we provide instructions. Do not send passwords, full payment credentials, private keys, government identification, or unrelated sensitive information.
Available remedies
After review, an appropriate remedy may include correction of records, replacement, reshipment, account credit where lawful and agreed, refund of an affected item, refund of shipping charges, cancellation, or another remedy required by law. The remedy depends on the facts, product status, availability, payment method, carrier outcome, and legal requirements. Refunds are generally returned through the original approved payment method where possible; alternate-method refunds require an approved and secure workflow.
Shipping claims and refused packages
Carrier estimates are not guarantees. Report apparent loss or damage promptly so a carrier review can begin. Refusing delivery or returning a package without authorization does not automatically create a refund right. If a package is returned to sender, we will review the cause, condition, legal requirements, and any carrier charges before determining the available remedy.
Cancellations before shipment
Request cancellation as soon as possible. We will attempt to stop fulfillment, but a cancellation is not confirmed until we communicate acceptance. Orders already transferred to fulfillment or a carrier may no longer be cancelable except where law provides otherwise.
Non-returnable circumstances
Except where law requires a remedy, we generally cannot accept returns based on change of mind, purchaser error, unused surplus, inability to conduct planned work, dissatisfaction with a result, incompatibility with a protocol, or use, opening, alteration, mishandling, storage, transfer, or disposal after delivery.
Legal rights
This policy supplements, and does not replace, any non-waivable rights under applicable law. We apply it to current orders together with the shipping, payment, tax, cancellation, and carrier processes available through the store.
